Please Pray for Beautiful Baby Allison

Do you see that Beautiful Baby Girl! Thats Allison, she is the daughter of my friend Nicole and her husband Shaun. This beautiful Baby was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia! Just yesterday she completed a very aggressive form of Chemo. For the next 15 days she is going to be in isolation due to her low immune level because of Chemo.
On Wednesday I had the opportunity to visit my friend Nicole and Baby Allison. When I walked in I was ready to shed the tears, to be honest with you on our way to the hospital I was already shedding tears.
I can honestly tell you just how amazed I am at how strong Nicole is holding up, and what a little fighter Baby Allison is. When I got there she was sound asleep. Resting ever so peacefully. Such a beautiful girl with a head full of curly locks!
Shorty into our visit a rep from the blood donor bank came up to talk to Nicole about a flyer they are for the upcoming blood drives. Since I'm helping Monkia-Nicoles best friend get the ok from Bobs Big Boy I was able to go down and have a meeting, I was also able to speak to the Bone Marrow Rep from The City of Hope.
My visit turned out to be quite productive! After I was done I made a few phone calls and then I went back up to see Nicole. I was so happy when I walked in and saw a wide away and in super good spirits Baby Allison! I had to capture a few photos of her.
This Baby is amazing and shes handled her treatments amazingly well. But folks thats not the end of the story.
We need your help! We will be having blood drives as well as marrow testing, because Baby A is going to need blood, and a bone marrow transplant!
I'll keep you posted on dates...but for now your prayers are much appreciated!
And of course any donations more then welcomed.

Its Been A Super Rough Week..Lots of Bye Byes!

The week started out pretty sad, on Tuesday June 23rd it was announced that the oh so famous Ed McMahon had passed. I remember back in the day I just knew he was gonna knock on our door with some balloons and a huge check telling us we won the jackpot...that never happened, and now he'll never knock on our door...actually I don't even think he was doing the sweepstakes anymore.. RIP Ed.

The following day it was announced that yet another famous person had lost her long battle with cancer. Farrah Fawcett, though she had been said to be very ill, she was most recently known for being a fighter and hoping to win this ugly demon called cancer! I had to include the oh so famous picture! Love them feathers!

The week wasnt over yet, when more tragedy hit the news channels, text messages where coming through so quick we didnt know what to do with ourselves! MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD! WHAT THE FUCK! This musical icon died at the tender age of 50, yet as he was planning a come back with his tour in Europe! Wow...Fans were left speechless yet smiling, holding back tears...or not, as we remembered his wonderful music! You know Thriller, Beat It, PYT, Dirty Diana...man the list goes on and on! It took a while for me to grasp it all but once it did I thought of my best friend, OH MY GAWSH, Michelle must be a mess! Indeed she was, aww man, this was a rough day and people are still wondering what went wrong. The picture below was my favorite picture of him, I remember being 10 or 11 and my brother had bought me a pin of this picture, I WAS THE SHIT! BYE BYE MICHAEL MAY YOU TOO REST IN PEACE!!!

Wow three deaths in one week, so tragic, what more could go wrong! SO MUCH could go wrong!
I decided I wanted to spend time with my niece and take her to Dots Cupcakes in Pasadena. I double checked with Damien if I could take his ride for the day since his air gets hella cold.
About an hour or maybe so into our visit, I get a phone call from Damien, ummm, Lorena, your car's on fire! I thought he was joking, but he was far from joking! My car was indeed on fire! He and THE KIDS were driving home when he suddenly saw smoke, pulled over popped the hood and found flames... what the fuck! Thank God he got the kids out safe and that there was a police unit that drove up and had a fire truck there in a second. My car is dead guys...it's gone, totaled, some shit went down and now my baby has got to get put down! I've included some photos of my baby, I cant believe my 1st car that I bought all on my own paid off for four years with my blood sweat and tears is gone!
Man I have so many memories with that car! I remember when my dad first brought Her home in August of '08, i loved Her instantly! I remember getting her insured and the agent telling me, well, this is the first '09 we insure! YEEEHAW!!
That car has taken me places, and ohhh if she could talk..the stories she'd tell ya.. hahaha!
I'm so sad to have to say Good Bye to my baby...Thanks for all the fun memories...

Hair Bows...

It all started just for fun, to make a cute little hair bow for Jordyn, but it quickly turned into lets see what else I can do. I really enjoy making hair bows and I have made quite a few! I think they look super cute in Jordyns curly hair! Here are few of the bows Ive made... enjoy!

Peace OUT!!

Just for fun and because almost an hour later they are still sleeping...

On this night it was family night at the school! Jacob was so excited to hold this snake in his hands!

As some of you may or may not know Jacob played his 1st year of Baket Ball this year. I've gotta say Damien and I saw a big improvement by the end of the season! I'm looking forward to his next season next year! Before the season ended Coach Mike managed to make it so the kids got to play at the Staples Center. All the kids and parents had a great time, the game was played during the Finals so you might see some pictures you'll enjoy! Jacob was happy that his Uncle Mario and Cousin Mia came out to cheer him on, Grandpa and Grandma Suarez, and lets give it up for Grandpa Tommy that met up with us at the Staples Cntr at 7 am, and he came all the way from Lancaster!

Damiens cousin invited Jacob and I to go to Disneyland with her son Jay and her friend and her son...sorry I'm not good at names...we had a fun time!

And here's one cutie picture of Jordyn!

Peace OUT!

Its 710am and the house is still quiet....shhhh

It seems like I'm back to my normal self waking up super early. I like it though the house is still quiet, the kids are sleeping, the MAN is out too, this is total me time. I should have been more productive and taken my ass to the gym but instead I chose to catch up on blogs and enjoying the down time all to myself! sshhh!

A few weeks ago Jacob completed the 2nd grade, oh but like most Robersons he didn't go out without a bang! That's right ladies and gentlemen, my baby ended the school year with a STUDENT OF THE MONTH AWARD!!

I was so excited that both Damien and I were able to attend and cheer Jacob on like that proud parents that we are. But you know if we were there, so was Ittee Bittee!
That day was a special day for Jacob aside from the award ceremony and mom, dad and Jordyn coming to see him, the school provided a yummy lunch for all the student (one from each class) of the month recipients. They got to much on some yummy pizza along side Principal Dr Gallardo. The received a student of the month pouch with an eraser, pencil, and ruler! But I got cheated...we didn't receive a student of the month bumper sticker! YOU know I would have rocked that one on my bumper! Oh FO SHO!
The following day would be the last day of school, so I made sure to come a few minutes early to give Mrs Gardea a Thank You gift and take some pictures with her and Ms Candice.

I gotta say Mrs Gardea was a great teacher and she made Jacob's learning a great one, I would say 2nd grade was a good year for Jacob.
And of course mom had to get a few pictures of his buddies that he was bidding farewell to for the summer...

And of course his 5th grade friend who will not return in Sept! Good Luck at Macy Middle School!

Well for me its a bitter sweet time, though I'm super excited to see MY baby grow into this Big Boy, it kinda brings tears to my eyes. My boy is all grown up. Hes successfully completed the 2nd grade, and will be in the 3rd in Sept, and in just a few short weeks, my Jacob will turning 8! This past year he's grown and matured so much! I'm so proud of him! He's such a great Big Brother, Jordyn just adores her brother! And quite frankly, so do mom and dad!!
Peace out peeps!
